The IB Student Society is a group of IB students that are responsible of coordinating the communication between students and the direction. In addition, the group creates intergenerational events to form a united community along studying resources to face academic challenges together.

Synoikismos was the initiative under the IBSS was founded. The group took inspiration from the Greek concept of synoikismos, which refers to the union or unification of small communities to form a larger one. Taking into account that Ancient Greece was known for its great wisdom, the group adopted the concept to symbolize unity through knowledge and thus, develop a formative group that serves the community.
